In the house

- No parking at the house. We reserve a garage space on the coast road (charged daily).

- An English-speaking doctor visits the house on call; the nearest pharmacy is in Positano centre.

Frequently asked
What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 10:30. Our host meets every arrival at the gate on Via Laurito. If the house is free the day before or after, we will happily let you in earlier or keep your bags.
Can we rent a single suite, or only the whole villa?
Both. Book The Whole Villa for up to ten guests and the house is yours alone, or book the Terrace Suite, Majolica Suite, Lemon Garden Apartment or Sea-view Studio on their own. When single suites are let, the pool, pergola and garden are shared with no more than three other parties.
Is there a minimum stay?
Three nights for a suite or the studio, and five nights for The Whole Villa from June to September. Outside summer, two nights for a suite and three for the villa.
How do we get to Casa Scogliera?
The nearest airport is Naples, about 90 minutes by car. We arrange a private transfer in a Mercedes saloon or van, or a boat from Salerno or Amalfi in summer. Cars cannot reach the door: the gate is on Via Laurito, and our porter carries your luggage down the 42 steps to the house.
Is there parking?
There is no parking at the house — it is a cliffside home reached by steps, like most of Positano. We reserve a space in a garage on the coast road at a daily charge, and the porter meets you there.
Is breakfast included, and can you cook dinner?
Breakfast is served on the terrace every morning and is included. Our private chef cooks dinner at La Terrazza on request, from 19:30 to 22:30, for two to twelve; a welcome dinner is included in every whole-villa stay of five nights or more.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation until 14 days before arrival. After that, two nights are charged. A deposit is taken to confirm the booking; the balance is due on arrival.
Is the house suitable for children?
Yes, with care. The house is on a cliff with terraces, steps and a pool, all fenced but not childproof. The Lemon Garden Apartment works best for families, and we provide a cot and high chair on request.
