The Majolica Suite is the most Amalfi room in the house. A ceramicist in Vietri sul Mare painted its tiles by hand in the old blue-and-white pattern; they run behind the bed and through the bathroom, cool underfoot in August.
A king canopy bed, linen curtains and a Juliet balcony look down over the vine pergola to the sea. A sofa bed takes a third guest. The bathroom has a rain shower set in green-glazed tile.
Good for couples, or a couple with a child.
